The Presidency, Economy and Business Minister and President of Actua, Jordi Gallardo, and the Actua Empresa’s director, Judit Hidalgo, presented on Monday, May 18th, the new programmes to continue supporting the country’s businesses. The event took place at the Actua’s Innovation Space.

Gallardo introduced the Growth programme for Andorran companyies. The minister detailed “it is aimed at companies with growth potential, with a turnover of more than 50,000 euros, with at least 2 years of activity. Companies will receive training for 6 months to make their business as competitive and resilient as possible”. The registration period opened on May 18th.

Actua’s Growth Program

The selected companies will receive more than 80 hours of specific training from business experts. The fully customized Growth Plan, which includes a mix of 33 hours of individual expert consulting, and 40 hours of specific group training. In parallel, there will be special group sessions, master classes and best practices with renowned experts and entrepreneurs, networking and business cooperation conferences, and a business diagnosis session. The Growth programme consists, in the end, of presenting a “tailor-made” proposal for companies.

The Actua Empresa’s director, Judit Hidalgo, highlighted “of all the participant companies, up to a maximum of 50 will receive a wide business diagnosis and recommendations for areas of improvement and development. Subsequently, 20 selected companies will receive a Master class in Business Pitch to defend their candidacy. Finally, 15 Growth companies will have the opportunity to carry out the entire program.

Actua’s Growth program has an estimated value of 15,000 euros for each company, but the selected companies will pay a subsidized 600 euros + IGI to participate.

Actua Empresa 2020 subsidies

For the third consecutive year, Actua will allocate an amount of 180,000 euros to subsidize subcontracted services that respond to a project or need of the company within its strategy to improve competitiveness. The maximum per company will be 6,000 euros. In June, the detailed specifications will be published.

Actua’s internationalisation portal

Actua will also launch in September an internationalization portal for the country’s businesses with information on markets, trade regulations and procedures from diferent countries. The tool, which is open to all, will be used, among other things, to analyse the best international markets for offering services abroad and to promote exports. In addition, it will facilitate fundamental tools, such as the elaboration of Business Plans and the accurate segmentation of Markets.

Actua continues to support Andorran companies, getting to know their needs with programmed visits. Other actions such as the digitalization of all hotel facilities on the Google Business View platform, organizing live seminars for all sectors and other important business incentives will be presented shortly.
