Actua, representatives from the Government of Andorra and over twenty businessmen from the country will participate in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2017, organized in Fira de Barcelona (Hospitalet de Llobregat), on November 14th,15th and 16th. Actua will have a 120m2 stand (located in Pavilion 2, Calle 2, Stand 101) for presentations and meetings between entrepreneurs, businessmen investors.
 
One of the novelties of this year’s stand will be a space available for Andorran companies to present their projects and products related to innovation and new technologies. The space will present the Persuasive Electric Vehicle (PEV), which is an autonomous vehicle that is being developed together with researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Visitors will be able to see the Andorran model of CityScope, featuring new researchs using Andorran extractet Data analysis from l’Observatori Andorrà de la Sostenibilitat (OBSA) and the MIT.
 
The Actua’s stand official opening will take place on Tuesday, November 14th at 11.30 a. m. The Minister of Economy, Competitiveness and Innovation, Gilbert Saboya, will be in charge of the presentation, along with the Secretary of State for Economic Diversification, Josep Maria Missé, and the director of Andorra Development and Investment (ADI-Actua), Judit Hidalgo. On Wednesday, November 15th, at 1 p. m., Saboya will give the conference: “Fostering Open Innovation through Living Labs” in the Auditorium.
 
During the three days of the congress, presentations by businessmen and entrepreneurs from Andorra will be held at the Actua stand.
 
675 exhibitors and leading companies in the field of intelligent urban solutions
 
The Smart City Expo World Congress 2017 will feature 675 exhibitors and 400 speakers and the industry’s leading companies in the field of intelligent urban solutions. Deutsche Telekom, Engie, Huawei, Mastercard, Microsoft, Siemens, Suez and ZTE are among the companies that will exhibit in this world’s leading event.
 
Many countries and citied will also exhibit their projects, and the list of exhibitors include Denmark, Dubai, Sweden, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Israel, London, New York, Norway, Spain and the United States. Last year, the congress brought together more than 16,000 visitors, professionals from 126 countries, 420 renowned speakers and 591 exhibitors.
