Andorra Business and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Andorra, with the collaboration and participation of the Andorran Business Confederation (CEA) and the Andorran Family Businesses (EFA), are organizing a business mission to Dubai from January 25th to the 29th, coinciding with Andorra´s participation in the Universal Expo 2020 taking place in Dubai.
These dates also mark the Expo´s celebration of Andorra´s national day which will be on the 28th of January when an institutional representation form the Principality will be present and Andorran acts will take place during the event.
It is focused on providing participants with the highest number of tools possible in order to achieve a triple objective:
- Analise investment opportunities, economic trends and the competitive factors of Dubai.
- Share experiences and aid in the internationalization of Andorran companies.
- Project Andorra and its economic and social environment.
The director of Andorra Business, Judit Hidalgo, explained that “the mission will be multi-sectorial and studies will be made for each company to discover which are the best business opportunities available to them in their respective activities” and highlighted “it will be taking place at the perfect time and on an unbeatable stage to make new business contacts”.
The director of the Chamber, Pilar Escaler, pointed out that “the pandemic caused a long stretch of inactivity with regards to the promoting of Andorra abroad. With the planned mission to Dubai our entity will be recovering this line of work alongside Andorra Business, allowing us to accompany Andorran businesses in getting closer to the dynamism and exclusivity of this city. We have organized a specific program which will consist in the Organization of an individualized agenda of business contacts promoting the exchange of experiences and professional networking for participating companies.”
