Andorran exports in 2016 were valued at 90.75 billion euros, a 12.6% increase compared to 2015, according to the latest report on foreign trade published by the department of Statistics.

Comparing with last December’s data, exports represented a value of 8.50 billion euros, a 39.1% increase compared to the previous year’s same month.
2016 data per sector of activity shows a dramatic increase in “industrial” sectors with a + 40.0%, in “jewelry” with a + 27.4%, and in “Transports” with a + 16.8%. The figures show a turnaround in a historically supported exports model in the fields of “Beverages and tobacco”.

Imports increased by 4.9% in 2016 compared to the previous year, representing a total value of 1226.33 million. In 2015 the amount was 1,168, 5 million.
Exportats increase began in early 2015, when it stood at 74 million; and it grew over 90 million.
