The Andorran School will introduce the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA for School), a three-year study initiated by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 1997. PISA for School assesses an education systems’ quality, equity and efficiency, and provides countries with data that will enable them to regularly review their own education policies and make improvements. The evaluation period is from the school year 2017-2018 to 2021 to 2022.

During its 36 years of existence, the Andorran School has been focused on providing quality formation to its students. In recent years it has updated its pedagogical model with the implementation of PERMSEA, introducing profound changes in educational programmes, in the methodological approach and in the evaluation processes.

The examination lasts a total of 3h30. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has informed the parents of the chosen students by letter, and will be responsible for administering the test in the schools and for analysing and processing the results, with the intervention of a specialised company duly accredited by the OECD.
