Actua Business presented on Monday, 31st of May, the fourth edition of the subventions program for small and mid-size Andorran businesses, aimed at providing support to their transformation process towards more innovative and competitive businesses. This year, Actua has allotted a total amount of 180.000 euros and the maximum given to each beneficiary can be 5.000 euros.
The presentation was given by the Minister for Presidency, Economy and Enterprise, and president of Actua, Jordi Gallardo, and the director of Actua Business, Judit Hidalgo. Gallardo highlighted that “the aid provided by Actua Business is aimed at contracting a determined type of services that contribute to facilitating the companies´ access to digitalization, innovation, internationalization and entrepreneurship, supporting their International expansion and presence abroad”.
The minister added that “in the current context they are even more necessary. The objective of these subventions is to help and incentivize those companies within the country who, by nature, have more limitations in accessing external professional services, enabling them to hire said services and, therefore, professionalize themselves and start to incorporate the variables of innovation and internationalization in their businesses to be more competitive and resilient”.
In her intervention, the director of Actua Business, Judit Hidalgo, explained that “this year, the process of conceding the subventions will again be that of competitive concurrence, in other words, once the receiving of applications will be finished, an evaluation according to the criteria established by the basis of the program and not by order of reception”, she also added “the beneficiaries of the fund will be those projects that can have a major impact on both the company and the country”. The amount provided by the entity will finance up to 80% of the services contracted by the business.
The period in which to present applications ends on the 22nd of June. The documentation is to be delivered to the offices of Actua Business (Prat de la Creu 68-76, 3er Edifici Administratiu Comú Andorra la Vella) Monday to Friday from 09:30 h to 15:00 h.
Furthermore, businesses or titled professionals who received this aid in previous editions can opt to it again, however those which have never received a subvention form Actua Buisness will have preference in the selection.
