The Andorra Business stand hosts eight Andorran companies presenting their projects at 4YFN, the event for startups at the Mobile World Congress

For the fourth consecutive year Andorra Business is taking part in 4 Years From Now the event for startups at the Mobile World Congress being held until Thursday at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. It is doing so in the company of 8 of the country´s companies (Agile Compass, Andorrix Services, ARC Institute, GosGuapos, Idunity, Inmobalize, Montpackers and Space Media) who are presenting their projects and business models, as well as taking advantage of this International event to establish new professional contacts.

The Andorran delegation is headed up by the State Secretary for Enterprise, Economic Diversification and Innovation Marc Saura, and the director of Andorra Business, Judit Hidalgo. Saura highlighted that “the Andorra Business stand is a great opportunity for the country´s startups to promote their innovative solutions and to get their name out there for possible collaborations with investors”.

In addition, Hidalgo, pointed out “we are back at the 4YFN along with 8 companies who are extremely technological within the startup ecosystem and very aligned with what can be seen at the event: Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, development… we are very pleased to be able to accompany them in their search for investors, technological partners and, of course, clients”.

The Andorran delegation also took the opportunity of being in Barcelona to hold various bilateral meetings such as the ones with representatives from the governments of Canada, Lithuania and the United States.

In this tenth edition, the exhibit area was expanded to two pavilions and there are over 800 exhibitors from around the world, as well as 350 speakers. Some of the renowned attendees are Nigel Toon, CEO and co-founder of Graphcore, a British company that manufactures and commercializes Artificial Intelligence semi-conductors, the ex-basketball player, Pau Gasol, who last year created Gasol16 Ventures to combine his projects of investment, consulting and business alliances to support the entrepreneurial network, or the founders of Spanish unicorns, companies that reach a worth of 1 billion dollars without operating on the stock market.

Over the course of the next few days around 100000 visitors are expected, a number similar to the ones obtained before the pandemic.
