The number of wage earners is the most important of the last six years

The total number of job seekers registred in the Servei d’Ocupació at the end of June was 413 people, representing a variation of -12.1% (470 people) compared to the month of May, and from – 23.7% over the month of June of the previous year (541 people).

This is the lowest figure for job seekers in the month of June in the last 8 years.

On the other hand, the total number of wage earners in the month of April was 38,653 people, which represents an upward variation of + 3.9% over the same month of the previous year, in which there were 37,205. This is the highest number of wage earners registered in the month of April in the last 6 years.

The average of wage earners over the last twelve months is 36,978, with a positive change of +3.3% over the same period of the previous period.
