Actua and Business France signed an agreement on Tuesday, January 16th, that will allow the two economic promotion agencies to establish various partnerships. It is the first agreement signed by the Andorran entity with an international economic promotion agency. Both institutions will carry out joint actions between France and Andorra, and will also promote the internationalization of companies in both countries.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of Business France in Paris, with the participation of the French economic promotion agency’s general manager, Christophe Lecourtier, the Secretary of State for Economic Diversification and Innovation, Josep María Missé, and the director of (ADI-Invest in Andorra), Judit Hidalgo. Lecourtier stressed that “we are very interested in the entire economic development programme of the Government of Andorra, and we are open to work in cooperation with Andorran entities and economic agents to see how Business France can help develop new economic sectors in France and other countries”.

The Secretary of State for Economic Diversification and Innovation said “it is a very important agreement for us in terms of economic promotion. It will allow us to help all Andorran companies that want to go abroad, taking advantage of the knowledge offered by the French agency “. Missé also remarked that “We cannot afford to access 70 countries, so this partnership opens the doors to international markets for us.

In this regard, ADI’s director added “this agreement helps us in the development of programs and services for Andorran companies in their internationalization process and also explores ways of collaboration between French and Andorran companies in the technology sector “. The agreement also fosters the entry of Actua into different international trade promotion organization networks and provides access to successful models that can be replicated in the Principality.

The agreement signed will also allow Actua to get to know Business France programs, to define joint actions between France and Andorra, in addition to other collaborations that will be established between the two agencies as of this year 2018.
