The first Israel-Andorra business day which was held on Wednesday, June 7, in Andorra La Vella, was organized by ACTUA, the Government of Andorra and the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Spain-Israel. The Andorran minister for Foreign Affairs, Gilbert Saboya, and the Israeli Ambassador, Daniel Kutner, opened the session. Saboya emphasized ” opportunities for companies to meet and for introducing Andorra to Israeli companies. It is therefore a good way to present our projects related to Big Data and the concept of a country exposed to many visitors although being a very small territory. In short, a country with the ability to take this idea of a laboratory testing business models that might be interesting for these companies in Israel. “

Israeli ambassador, Daniel Kutner, said that “we want to understand the Andorran model. It has possibilities in the field of Fintech, financial technology, which is an area where Israel is putting a lot of interest and which concentrates a large part of the investment in cyber security. ” Kutner highlighted “we are also interested in Andorra’s powerful touristic attraction despite its small size. The Principality has twice the amount of tourists than Israel, and we want to further develop this sector. But there are many areas where there is potential for mutual benefit. “
