The new tool, developed by Andorra by Sport, can be consulted through the website www.andorrabysport.com, a mobile application available on Android and IOS, and the social networks of Facebook and Instagram. It allows organisers, federations and clubs to develop an optimal planning of activities in the sector and to reach a wider sporting public. It also supports sportsmen and women, promoters and companies in the sector, increases their visibility and plans to increase the number of visitors to events. It also promotes Andorra as a reference for sports tourism throughout the year.
Gerard Fonolleda, Personal Banking Director of Banc Sabadell d’Andorra, pointed out that “this new tool allows to consult all the country’s sporting events from a single portal, making them more widely known and avoiding overlapping”.
For her part, the director of Andorra Development and Investment (ADI / Actua), Judit Hidalgo, reported that “the project of the unique calendar of sporting events was one of the first sports cluster’s priorities to promote a key sector in the country and fortunately, it is already a reality”.
