Andorra Business presented the eighth edition of its grant program for companies in the country this Monday. With a budget of €180,000 for 2025—€40,000 of which is reserved for internationalization services—this amount, combined with other funds for business support and services, now represents more than 50% of the organization’s total budget, reinforcing public support for the national business fabric.
Conxita Marsol, Minister of the Presidency, Economy, Labour and Housing, and president of Andorra Business, highlighted that “in this eighth edition, we especially want to help companies that may face greater challenges in being competitive, internationalizing, and building resilience.” Marsol emphasized that “our goal is to support business transformation, drive more added value, more innovation, and more competitiveness, and accompany internationalization processes to better take advantage of international market opportunities.”
In fact, 85% of the grant budget is reserved for companies with annual revenues under €350,000, to ensure that smaller companies can also access support services and specialized advice. The minister also noted that “since the launch of Andorra Business grants, more than €1.3 million in aid has been allocated, reaching over 300 Andorran companies,” thus confirming the tangible impact of these business support policies.
On her part, the organization’s director, Judit Hidalgo, stated, “our goal is to help the country’s companies and foster national talent,” emphasizing Andorra Business’s commitment to adapting its services to the real needs of the business community. According to Hidalgo, “we continue to work on providing real value to Andorran companies and accompanying them on their path toward innovation, competitiveness, and sustainability”—a path that, she explained, involves offering personalized support, promoting specialized training, and facilitating access to resources and markets that can accelerate business transformation. The director also stressed the importance of promoting long-term projects aimed at creating skilled employment and positioning Andorra as an attractive environment for entrepreneurship and investment.
The eligible services for subsidies in 2025 are divided into five main areas:
- Innovation: Specialized studies on new international business lines; Technological research / technology scouting; Assessment of internationalization potential; Certifications for external commercialization…
- Internationalization: Booking spaces at international trade shows; International promotion plans; Internationalization assessments; ACCIÓ services through the agreement with Andorra Business.
- Business optimization: Recruiting specialized profiles in internationalization/innovation; Support in obtaining certifications; Specialized education and training.
- Sustainability (ESG): Sustainability audits; Carbon footprint assessments; Sustainability training and guidance on green labeling.
- Corporate equality: Development of Equality Plans; Legal advice, training, and anti-harassment protocols.
Additionally, at the same press conference, the fifth edition of the Growth program was presented—targeted at companies with high growth potential and including more than 70 hours of specialized knowledge. Finally, Andorra Business shared an assessment of the impact of its services: 270 businesses benefited in the past year alone, with a very high user satisfaction rate—99.5% would recommend the organization’s programs and services.
