Andorran exports increased by 17% in the last 12 months

Andorran exports during the month of June 2018 represented 10.63 million euros according to the latest report by the the Government of Andorra’s Department of Statistics, published on July 30th. This figure represents a positive annual variation of 16.7% with respect to June 2017.

The report also highlights that 596,779 visitors entered the country in June, 2.8% more than the same month last year, while the total of the last 12 months was 8,219,318 visitors, with an increase of 1.2% over the previous year.

As for job seekers, 379 people were registered, with a variation with respect to the previous month of -12.5% (433 people), and 8.2% lower than the same month last year (413 people).

The Department of Statistics also reports the total number of employees in Andorra in April was 40,157, a variation of +3.8% with respect to the same month last year, with 38,690 employees. Moreover, the average number of employees during the last 12 months was 38,204, with a positive variation of +3.3% with respect to the same period in the previous year.
