The estimated population of Andorra as of 31 December is 73,105 people, according to the latest information provided by the Andorran Government’s Department of Statistics. This represents an increase of + 1.9% from 31 December 2015 (+1,373 people). This growth is mainly concentrated in Canillo (+302 residents + 9.0%), Andorra la Vella (+244 residents + 1.1%) and La Massana (+222 residents +2.4 %).
In terms of nationalities, Spaniards (+552 residents + 3.2%) and Andorrans increased the most (+443 residents + 1.2%), whereas Portuguese inhabitants dropped (residents -65, -0.7%).
