The Board of Barcelona Tech City, Ajuntament de Barcelona and the Generalitat de Catalunya with other institutions of the Startup community have agreed to organize the Barcelona Tech Spirit, an event that will bring together activities and conferences to promote entrepreneurship on February 24, 25 and 26. Thanks to the agreement signed with Actua, several Andorran companies will be able to participate.
These entrepreneurship conferences emerged spontaneously from Startups and entrepreneurs of the ecosystem. The aim is to maintain the opportunity to have access to new clients and investors, after the cancellation of the Mobile World Congress.
The Barcelona Tech Spirit will organize networking meetings between entrepreneurs and international investment funds that had already planned to visit Barcelona during these dates.
Miguel Vicente, President of Barcelona Tech City, highlighted “this project has emerged spontaneously from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and has had a magnificent and immediate response from all the agents involved. It proves the strength, activism and solidarity of the Barcelona’s technological ecosystem”. Many entities, companies and Startups are willing to contribute in order to create a great event, according to sources within the organization.
