The Minister for Presidency, Economy and Enterprise and president of Actua, Jordi Gallardo, and the director of Actua Business, Judit Hidalgo, presented on Tuesday, April 27th, the second Edition of the Growth Program, a support initiative for those companies having a high growth potential.
After the prior edition´s success, Actua Business informed that this year 15 companies will be able to enjoy this program, which among other things includes 80 hours of specialized knowledge, provided by professionals from the business world, a tailor made growth plan which includes a 33 hour mix of individual mentoring in work areas such as marketing (digital and traditional), international sales, finances, strategy and leadership. In addition, a further 40 hours of group session training will be offered in the same fields and 15 special sessions.
Gallardo highlighted the importance of the program because “Actua Business provides the companies with a group of experts who will develop the Growth Plan throughout the length of the program and give expert individual assessment. There will also be special collective, masterclasses and best practices with renowned experts and entrepreneurs”.
In this sense, Hidalgo added that there would also be “space for contacts to be made between companies with networking sessions and business cooperation, and a company diagnostic. All of this with the aim of helping companies find areas of improvement and strengthen their development in the long term”.
Company Selection
Registration can be made by filling out the application of admission to the Growth Program 2021 until May 21st. Of all the companies who register, a maximum of 50 will be chosen to benefit from a business analysis giving the company an x-ray view of its areas of improvement and development (estimated value of 500 euros). Of these 50, 20 companies will be selected to receive a masterclass in business pitches and to defend their candidacy. Finally, 15 companies will have the opportunity to complete the full length of the program.
The cost of Actua Business´s Growth Program for the selected companies is of 600 euros + IGI in order to participate, however the estimated value is of 15.000 euros.
