Flights between the Andorra-La Seu d’Urgell airport and Madrid start on December 17th

The Government of Andorra adjudicated on Wednesday October 20th, the public tender for the launching of new routes from the Andorra-La Seu d’Urgell airport to Madrid, to the company Air Nostrum (Iberia)which will begin to operate on the 17th of December. The sum budgeted by the administration is for a maximum amount of 630.000 euros, which will be reduced depending on the route´s real number of passengers. Andorra will be present in its own pavilion at the Expo Dubai 2020

The Minister for Presidency, Economy and Enterprise, Jordi Gallardo, and the Secretary of State for Economic Diversification and Innovation, Marc Galabert, presented Andorra´s participation in the Expo Dubai 2020, this afternoon. This international expo will open its doors from the 1st of October to the 30th of March, after having had to be postponed due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The Council of Ministers approved on Wednesday, September 9th 2021, by proposal of the Minister for Presidency, Economy and Enterprise, Jordi Gallardo, the Public tender criteria offering new flights form the Andorra–La Seu d’Urgell airport to the Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas airport during 2022.
