The Government has informed that from the 27th of March the flight schedules between the Andorra-La Seu d’Urgell airport and the airport Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas will be modified.
The new schedule modifies all departure times with the aim of maximizing the potential for weekend trips, whether they be to Madrid or Andorra, adapting to the times considered to be of highest potential demand by the operator during the summer season.
In the same sense, schedules will be specifically adapted in the period running between the 22nd of July and the 4th of September in order to prioritize connectivity for longer stays at the height of summer holidays.
Therefore, the flight schedule will be as follows:
- From the 27th of March: departure from Madrid at 16:20 and departure from Andorra-La Seu d’Urgell at 18:40.
This change coinciding with summer daylight savings time will allow to operate flights in the afternoon connections window of the Madrid airport, improving connectivity in stop-over time and increasing potential connecting flights. - From July 22nd to September 4th: departure from Madrid at 12:05 and departure from Andorra-La Seu d’Urgell at 14:20.
Due to the predominance of longer stays during this period of the year, the new schedule aims to prioritize the midday window and potentiate connectivity at these times offered by the Madrid airport. - From September 5th:return to departure time from Madrid at 16:20 hores and departure from Andorra-La Seu d’Urgell at 18:40.
