An Andorran delegation, made up of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Actua and the Chamber of Commerce participated on Thursday, March 8th, 2018, in the Journée-Pays-Andorre in Perpignan, organized by the CCI PirineusMed.

The event, with the participation of Andorran companies, served to present Andorra’s business opportunities. Actua’s member, Carles Aleix, presented the strategy of Andorra’s economic promotion agency to attract foreign investment and to diversify the economy. He also talked about the changes brought about by economic opening, including legal and tax reforms, and the different projects being promoted in the country in the field of new technologies, renewable energies, among others.

The conference was opened by Thomas Garcia, Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of CCI Pyrénées-Orientales. Françoise Delcasso, project manager in CCI Pyrénées-Orientales, presented the cross-border project CCI Pirineuss Med, financed by the European Poctefa program.

The head of the Energy and Climate Change Agency, Carles Miquel and the director of Agriculture, Landry Riba, presented their respective departments’ projects and priorities. The event ended with more than 70 B2B meetings between French and Andorran representatives.
