The Health Minister, Joan Martínez Benazet presented a new website, developed with the Ministry, the SAAS, Actua Innovació, ApiumTech, BTC assessors, Andorra Telecom, Win2Win and other volunteers in the country. It allows a self-assessment test of risks according to the symptoms and previous pathologies to issue the relevant health indications or collect daily symptoms of coronavirus patients who are isolated in their homes. Health professionals can monitor and follow up each case in real time based on the data sent by users and, if necessary, the medical emergency services will be activated. At the same time, the website will allow an inter-active communication channel between citizens and the health system in the event of telephone congestion 116. Also, a xatbot (a virtual assistant) will be installed in the coming days to provide direct information with updated health information.
This platform, website and application also provides a clinical data collection database for health professionals, which is fed by the information sent by users. In this way, the epidemiological control of Andorra is further strengthened and improved.
The web site will also be in the format of an application for mobile phones in the coming days and will be available for free download on Android and iOS operating systems, thus facilitating its use. In addition, the development in application format allows to enable more functionalities if necessary.
Both the website and the mobile application has a section of information regarding the confinement in the section #JoEmQuedoACasa, as recommendations or activities to do at home. Govern may also use this channel to publish information.
