On Thursday, March 23, members of ACTUA’s cluster for Health and Wellness worked together on progress of health tourism in Andorra. 30 members participated in the event, making various contributions to the strategy presented by Antares Consulting.
After Andorra’s analysis of the private Health and Wellness offer, as well as tourist profile, the study presented to ACTUA’s cluster proposes the strategy of creating a center of excellence in the field of sports medicine, allowing for the arrival of high-level athletes, and working on a network with satellite centers. It also defines an action plan to strengthen the offer of women’s wellness and health.
The project’s ultimate purpose is to diversify tourism products through the availability of a variety of resources that promote the attraction of tourists beyond the winter season. To make this possible, this strategy focuses mainly on existing private operators and attracting foreign private providers to the country.
